These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the website www.crafthouz.com and any online orders placed through it.  By accessing this website or placing an online order, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the website.

1. About Us — Business Identity

Crafthouz is the name of this international website. Our team specialises in the production and supply of oak barrels, barrel-inspired products, wooden beekeeping supplies, and bespoke wooden products.

The website includes an online store open to customers worldwide, offering selected products suitable for direct postal delivery — such as handcrafted oak barrels, wooden bottles, display flasks, and other lightweight non-bulky items.

For other product categories, we generally operate on a B2B basis for wholesale orders. All products offered in our online store are also available for B2B wholesale supply. B2B wholesale orders are handled separately and are quoted and invoiced individually by our Ukrainian legal entity.  All terms for B2B wholesale orders are agreed separately in writing and confirmed by both parties.

Online store orders are processed separately and invoiced by a different legal entity (another merchant), as specified in the invoice and payment documents.

2. Order Process and Confirmation

All online orders (hereinafter referred to as “Orders”) placed through this website are subject to acceptance under these Terms.
After placing an order, you will receive an email confirming receipt. This does not constitute acceptance of your Order.
An order is officially accepted only once the goods have been dispatched, unless otherwise notified.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order at our discretion, including but not limited to:

  • Product unavailability
  • Pricing or description errors
  • Delivery restrictions
  • Suspected fraud or misuse

Orders may be subject to verification, and we may request additional information to confirm identity or payment. Orders can only be placed by customers aged 18 and over.

For all orders made through this website’s online store, the legal seller and merchant of record is sole trader Szabados Andras, UK. All online orders placed via this website are invoiced and paid to this entity. Address of sole trader Szabados Andras: 31 Scorton Avenue, Perivale, Middlesex, Greenford, London, UB6 8LA, UK.

3. Products — Characteristics and Accuracy

Our products are made from natural timber. Variations in colour, grain, and condition may occur due to exposure to light, temperature, or humidity.

Therefore:

  • All sizes, weights, and capacities are approximate
  • Colours may differ from images
  • Photos are for illustrative purposes only
  • Minor imperfections are natural and not considered defects
  • Each batch may differ slightly while maintaining quality standards

We reserve the right to correct any typographical or clerical errors without liability.

4. Prices and Payment — Currency and Charges

Prices are displayed in EUR (€). Delivery fees are not included in the listed prices and are calculated separately at checkout, based on the selected destination country and order size.

Accepted payment methods include:

  • PayPal
  • Stripe
  • Bank transfer (based on an invoice issued upon request)
  • Other secure methods available at checkout

All transactions are processed through trusted and secure payment gateways. We do not store card details ourselves; payments are processed securely by third-party providers (such as PayPal or Stripe).

If a pricing error is discovered, you will be notified prior to dispatch. You may then confirm the order at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

International customers are responsible for all import duties, customs fees, or local taxes applicable in their country. Refunds are issued to the original payment method, unless otherwise mutually agreed in writing.

5. Shipping & Delivery

We deliver to most European countries and worldwide.

Estimated delivery times:

  • Europe: typically 10 –14 days
  • Other regions worldwide: approximately 14–28 days, depending on courier availability and customs processing

Orders placed before 11:00 AM (CET) are usually dispatched the next working day. Orders placed later may be dispatched the following working day.

All items are securely packaged to minimize the risk of damage during transit.

Delivery timeframes are approximate and are calculated from the date the order is dispatched, not from the date the order is placed or confirmed. Actual delivery times may vary due to courier operations, customs processing, or factors beyond our control. We are not responsible for delays caused by couriers, customs, or events beyond our control.

If delivery fails due to an incorrect address or recipient unavailability after two attempts, the parcel will be returned. In such cases, you may either:

  • Pay for redelivery, or
  • Request a refund minus the original shipping cost

All Orders are shipped under CPT (Carriage Paid To) terms, in accordance with Incoterms®, unless otherwise expressly agreed in a separate written contract. We arrange and cover the transport costs to the agreed delivery destination, while the buyer remains solely responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or local charges upon receipt of goods.

All Orders may be shipped from warehouses in the UK or directly from our facilities in Ukraine. Wholesale and custom-made orders are typically dispatched from Ukraine, unless otherwise agreed.

We reserve the right to select the most appropriate logistics partner or courier for each shipment. While we aim to deliver within the estimated timeframe, we are not responsible for courier delays, customs processing times, or events beyond our control.

Customer data is shared only when required for delivery purposes and is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Damaged or Missing Items

If your parcel arrives damaged or items appear to be missing, please contact us within 14 days and include photos of the packaging and contents together with your order number. Requests made significantly later may be more difficult to review.

In cases of loss or damage during transit, you will be offered a choice:

  • A replacement shipment, or
  • A full refund

Each case is reviewed individually. For damaged or incomplete deliveries, we will assess the photos and details provided to verify the issue.

If a parcel is suspected to be lost in transit, we will open an investigation with the courier. Once confirmed, we will process your chosen option (replacement or refund).

6. Returns & Refunds

We want the return and refund process to be simple and transparent for everyone.

Please inspect your parcel immediately upon arrival. Any damage or missing items should be reported within 14 days, including photos of the packaging and contents. This allows us to promptly file a claim with the carrier.

Change of Mind Returns:

  • You may return an item within 14 days of delivery if it is unused and in its original packaging.
  • Please contact us first and wait for written approval before returning any item.
  • Return shipping costs are paid by the customer.
  • Refunds are processed within 14 days after we receive and inspect the returned goods to confirm they are unused and in their original condition.
  • Returns are not accepted after 14 days.

Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items:

  • If the goods are defective, damaged, or not as described, you will be offered a choice between a replacement or a full refund.
  • We may request the return of the item for inspection, or we may offer a refund or replacement based on the photos and details you provide, without requiring the item to be returned.
  • If a return is required, we will cover the reasonable return shipping costs.
  • Refunds for defective items are typically processed within 14 days. Replacements are dispatched within 14 days after confirming the issue. Delivery times may vary depending on the carrier.

Non-returnable items:

  • Custom-made / bespoke / personalised items cannot be returned unless defective.
  • Goods that were used or returned in non-original condition.

Refund Method

Refunds are issued to the original payment method, unless another option is agreed in writing.

7. Liability — Legal Limits and Disclaimers

We take reasonable care to protect your orders and personal data. However, we are not liable for losses caused by unauthorised third-party access unless such access occurs due to our negligence.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not accept liability for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Decisions or actions taken based on website information, descriptions, or articles
  • Website downtime, errors, technical issues, or interruptions
  • Misuse, improper storage, alteration, or unauthorised use of products after delivery

Our total liability in connection with any order shall not exceed the amount paid for that order.
